Welcome to Bill’s Mexican Tours

Welcome to Bill’s Mexican Tours

This webpage should aid anyone considering a visit to Mexico. During the last forty-five years the owner, Bill Kaliher, has traveled mainland Mexico and the Yucatan by every method possible. He has designed tours that encompass some cultural immersion while enjoying fantastic sites, exotic cities and untouched nature.

Bill believes a tour should involve a small number of travelers and shouldn’t be hurried, especially in Mexico. There time slows and extra moments can be taken to savor a breakfast and last sip of coffee. One competitive tour offers this line from their tour presentation, “…Next, drive by Mexico City’s main square and Cathedral.…”
Thus, this sentence raises several questions:
1.      How does one say they actually visited Mexico City and did not walk the square and enter the Cathedral? (The square is called the zócalo. It is one of the largest plazas in the world and has been used as a gathering place since Aztec times.)
2.      How crowded is the tour if drive-bys are featured?
The answer is the tourists don’t have enough time. Bill would rather avoid a rushed tour. The “Know Mexico,” tour visits at least five cities or areas that require a month to scrape the surface properly.
The goal of Bills Mexican Tours is to get you to the highlights, but with enough time to visit a cathedral and enjoy a fresh fruit drink across the street and to walk the parks to feel and absorb the pulsating life of the Mexican people.

BillsMexicanTours carries you several steps beyond the standard sites visited by tourists and gives you a taste of Mexico. The result is occasionally experiencing activities most visitors rarely encounter. Visiting any foreign country means experiencing differences in customs and legalities. Those differences are rarely a problem for travelers with a willingness to get off the beaten track, and possessing a curiosity to see the real world in its true and wondrous colors.
Follow the links on this webpage to learn about Bill, the tours, a bit of Mexican history and enjoy the photographs. There is a link where you can comment or ask questions. You’ll also find a link, if you’re interested in writing and a weekly cartoon from Thom Bluemel. Expect
something new on the site every week.

I’m impressed, I must say. Seldom do I encounter a blog that’s both equally educative and engaging, and let me tell you, you’ve hit the nail on the head. The problem is something which not enough men and women are speaking intelligently about. I’m very happy that I stumbled across this in my hunt for something regarding this.|
